Sergio Romero is facing a battle for the Manchester United No 1 shirt

Sergio Romero says he is fulfilling a dream by playing for Manchester United and will fight to keep his starting place.

The 28-year-old Argentina international joined on a free transfer in the summer and has started all six of United's matches this season in the absence of David de Gea.
De Gea was expected to join Real Madrid but the deal fell through at the 11th hour after the relevant paperwork was not completed, leaving manager Louis van Gaal with the Spain international, Victor Valdes and Romero at his disposal.
