statement does not give reasons for the push, but suggests the
postponement adds another opportunity for the organizers to deliver an
event many expect to be truly remarkable.
The event will now coincide with the equally hugely anticipated January 1st concert by Ali Baba.

The Headies 2015 is
hosted by Kaffy and Bovi, with performances from 2Face, Vector, Falz,
Iyanya, Seyi Shay, Adekunle Gold, Olamide, Simi, Victoria Kimani, Eva
Alordiah and more.
Olamide
is top of the nomination table for this year's Headies with eight nods
including – Best Pop single, Rap Album, Best Collaboration (twice), Best
Street-Hop Artiste, Album of the Year, Artiste of the Year, and Song of
the Year.
Following closely is Wizkid,
who has seven nominations in Recording of the Year, Best RnB/Pop Album,
Best Pop Single, Best Collabo, Album of the Year, Artiste of the year,
and Song of the Year.
Contending for one of the biggest awards of the night – Artiste of the year are Olamide, Davido, Wizkid, Yemi Alade, and P-Square.
The highly prized Next Rated category will see Reekado Banks, Kiss Daniel, Korede Bello, Cynthia Morgan and Lil’ Kesh slug it out.
Other new nominees at the Headies are Falz The Bahd Guy, Mr. 2Kay, Small Doctor, Ugovinna, Di’Ja, Shaydee, Simi and Aramide.
The Hall of Fame Award which has celebrated industry heavy weights like Obi Asika, Kenny Ogungbe and D1, Philip Trimnell, Grand Master Lee, FAJ, and a host of others shall be inducting Pop super star, Innocent ‘2Face’ Idibia.
