Drake Using Meek Mill Feud As ‘Fuel’ For Album, Reportedly Collaborating With Beyoncé, Tinashe

ake is expected to release his
new album “Views From The 6”
later this year. The rapper, who
hasn’t dropped a studio album since
2013’s “Nothing Was The Same,” has
been working on his latest project
for a year.
According to Billboard, “Views From
The 6” will be “epic” and Drake has
a lot of surprises in store for his
fans. The site reports that Drake
will be “switching up his sound” on
the album, but is still working with
the same producers, including
Omen, Boi-1da and Noah “40”
Shebib. There’s also rumors that
he’s going to collaborate with
Beyoncé, Willow Smith and Tinashe
for a few songs on the album.
While Drake has been relatively
quiet about his plans for “Views
From The 6,” Billboard claims the
rapper is going to use his feud with
Nicki Minaj’s beau, Meek Mill, as “a
lot of fuel” for the album. It’s not
clear if that means Drake will
include a couple jabs at Mill or just
use their war of words as
inspiration behind the songs.
As previously reported, Drake’s
beef with Mill began July 21 when
the “All Eyes On You” rapper ranted
on Twitter that he wanted people
to stop comparing him to Drake
because Drake doesn’t write his
own verses. Mill and the Canadian
rapper collaborated on the song
“R.I.C.O,” from Mill’s album
“Dreams Worth More Than Money.”
Drake responded to the jab by
releasing the diss tracks “Charged
Up” and “Back to Back.” Mill in turn
dropped “Wanna Know,” and also
bashed the rapper during a concert
stop with Minaj. It’s been rumored
that Drake recorded a third diss
song about Mill, but won’t release it
because it could ruin Mill’s career.
“Views From The 6,” will follow
Drake’s 2015 release “If You’re
Reading This It’s Too Late.” As
previously reported, he dropped
the recording without warning in
February, and it went on to become
the first release in 2015 to sell a
million copies.
